Natural VS. Eco-Friendly: What’s the difference?
All of our candles are hand poured and manufactured in Colorado with soy wax, hemp core cotton wicks and essential oils. Candles that are labeled as All Natural are just that. Candles that are labeled Eco-Friendly are that and a little bit more. The dye that we use is made from eco-friendly ingredients. Each of our Eco-Friendly candles are individually colored. All our candles are made with EcoSoya Candle Waxes™. 

EcoSoya Candle Waxes™:

• Are made, beginning with a pure, 100% natural soybean base and complimented with premium botanical oils.
• Contain no pesticides or herbicides.
• Are a non-petroleum renewable resource.
• Are biodegradable and so safe their components are edible (not recommended).
• Are made ecologically, striving to use nothing but non-genetically modified soybeans.

Also all our candles use hemp core cotton wicks.

Hemp is a strong natural fiber, which makes for rigid wicks that will stand up and burn great! These wicks contain absolutely no lead, are not chemically treated, and are braided with pure U.S. unbleached cotton! The inner core is the hemp and the outter core is the cotton.

We also use EVO Dyes in our Eco-Friendly Candles.

• EVO Dyes do not contain hazardous solvents or additives such as naphtha or naphthalene.
• Mild pleasant scent with NO hazardous fumes or air pollutants.
• Dyes are made with ingredients that are non-cancer causing
• NONE of the ingredients used to manufacture the EVO dyes are on the California Prop 65 list of cancer causing ingredients
• Never tested on animals
• Formulated using eco-friendly ingredients

Essential Oils:

Essential oils are concentrated oils extracted through distillation from different parts of the plants, fruits, flowers and trees. They have long been revered for their fragrance and therapeutic value. We have chosen to use only therapeutic essential oils instead of cheaper synthetic fragrance oils, which do not offer the same unique properties. There is some question as to whether or not these properties are still active once the essential oil has gone through the candle making process. We have not found any conclusive answer to this. In an era where we are bombarded with synthetics, we would like to offer a candle that is as close to natural as we can make it, and we feel it can only be beneficial to use essential oils in preference to synthetic oils. We know that people will enjoy the refreshing smell of therapeutic grade essential oils from our candles.

PLEASE NOTE:
Candle will not release smell until burning has begun. For optimal burning and scent, please burn candle for 1 hour per diameter for first use. Example: 3" in diameter, burn 3 hours.

Our tealight candles are sold in a cotton / muslin (both natural fibers) bag that can be used again and again. Simply wash the bag and add your favorite herbs or teas into the bag and place in hot water.

We even use packing and paper products that are Eco-Friendly!

• Wrapping Tissue 100% recycled, 20% or more post-consumer fiber.
• All paper products are tree free or 100% de-inked post-consumer waste (packaging slip, flyers, business cards, card tags). Tree-free paper is manufactured without the use of a tree. Instead made from non wood fibers – 40% hemp 40% flax 20% cotton. Tree-free paper is one of the most environmentally-friendly paper products of our time. Our post consumer paper was brought onboard when tree-free paper was less available. As it was put to us, "There is already so much wasted paper, you might as well use the paper from those that have thrown it away." This paper is also one of the most environmentally friendly papers in the industry.
• The corrugated boxes are made from 100% recycled fibers.
• Packing peanuts are made from biodegradable cornstarch and are static free. They dissolve in water. Try it, you'll be amazed!
